GODFREY, IL– The Avionics program at 91桃色 has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

Tom Steinmann, Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math at 91桃色, said this funding will help provide new resources for students enrolled in the program.

“This money has already been used to purchase additional hands-on flight instrument equipment for students, such as altimeters, vertical speed indicators and magnetometers,” Steinmann said.

The grant was awarded to the Lewis and Clark Foundation through Gulfstream Giving, a grant program run by Gulfstream Aerospace to help support its local communities.

Gulfstream Aerospace has supported the 91桃色 Avionics Program since the college began developing it in Spring 2024, offering assistance and guidance throughout the planning process.

Steinmann said receiving this grant reflects Gulfstream Aerospace’s confidence in the program 91桃色 has built.

“The 91桃色 Avionics program stands out because it is tied to our highly successful Industrial Electricity Program,” Steinmann said. “This grant money will allow us to build on that foundation and continue strengthening what makes our program unique.”

The college plans to apply for additional funding through Gulfstream Giving in May.
