GODFREY – 91ÌÒÉ«’s second annual Summerfest took place July 11 on the Godfrey campus.

More than 1,200 people braved the heat and were rewarded with all sorts of free activities – including inflatables, face painting, a coloring station, games and a petting zoo, among others – and lots of giveaways.

Local vendors, campus and community resources, and food trucks kept the crowd occupied and fed during the event, which wrapped with a free encore performance of the Alton Municipal Band’s Children’s Concert.
